At Beverly Hills Cancer Center, we work collaboratively to treat cancer appropriately and effectively. Our integrative approach includes traditional cancer treatment, nutrition, acupuncture, psychotherapy and massage therapy as well as carefully selected treatments from traditional Chinese medicine. Screening and Prevention – Beverly Hills Cancer Center has the latest diagnostic laboratory and imaging technology. The Beverly Hills Cancer Center laboratory recently received a prestigious award from COLA for the Highest Commendation for Laboratory Excellence in 2008-2009.

Detection, Diagnosis and Staging – We use a variety of resources to diagnose and stage each person’s cancer. These include physical examination, lab work, CT, MRI, PET/CT, bone scan, bone density, ultrasound, nuclear studies and others. Our diagnostic imaging center has been awarded accreditation in diagnostic CT, PET/CT and MRI after a comprehensive review performed by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Chemotherapy – Anti-cancer medications remain an essential treatment method. Our specialized staff and chemotherapy nurses coordinate chemo infusions and closely monitor side effects and progress. For your convenience, we also have an in-house pharmacy to help meet your needs.

Radiation oncology – Highly specialized and sophisticated radiation treatment modality. Radiotherapy may be a primary therapy or combined with chemotherapy, hormone therapy, surgery or a combination of the three. Our team includes the area’s leaders in radiation oncology and offers the latest in cutting-edge technology. The combined availability of IMRT and IGRT at Beverly Hills Cancer Center has allowed us to take radiation treatments to the next level.
Intensity-modulated Radiation therapy – IMRT is one of our most common types of radiation treatment that helps destroy cancer cells with carefully targeted radiation. We can deliver treatments directly to a tumor while limiting radiation and potential side effects to normal tissues nearby.
Image-guided Radiation Therapy – IGRT is the latest radiation therapy technology that helps deliver sophisticated IMRT radiation treatments with greater precision to attack cancer cells and minimize radiation side effects to normal tissue. Our on-board imager is capable of X-ray imaging and cone-beam CT scans performed daily prior to each treatment for greater precision.
Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy – SBRT is a new technology that utilizes image guidance to deliver high doses of extremely precise radiation to well-defined targets in the body. It is often used as an alternative to surgery (i.e., lung, liver and spine).

Interventional procedures – When appropriate, we may recommend minimally invasive techniques to help diagnose and treat cancer or provide relief. These methods include tumor ablation, delivery of chemo drugs into tumor sites (chemo embolization) and pain-relieving injections.
